Job Description

Axon is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer to ensure products meet the highest standards before reaching customers. The role involves developing test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive resolutions and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans
• Incorporate Statistical Analysis into Validation Testing
• Review System & Product Requirements
• Test product capabilities and features
• Troubleshoot firmware/software or hardware issues
• Participate in field testing
• Provide status updates and reporting
• Improve tests and processes
• Design Validation Test Procedures
• Execute Firmware/Software, Mechanical, Environmental, and Electrical Tests
• Document and report test results
• Support Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
• Work with external labs
• Implement and maintain 5S Standard
• Develop customer usage models

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 2+ years of experience with validation or qualification testing
• Experience identifying, reproducing, documenting, and reporting bugs
• Experience presenting test plans to stakeholders
• Understanding of Product Development Life Cycle
• Familiarity with Project Management
• Familiarity with JIRA
• Experience with manufacturing and assembly process
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Ability to influence organizations
