Job Description

Axon is seeking a Principal RF Engineer with expertise in RF front-end systems and antenna design to lead the development of high-performance Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms. The role involves architecting and implementing RF front ends, validating performance, and providing technical leadership for airspace security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop RF front ends
• Specify and integrate antennas for SDR platforms
• Lead RF validation and characterization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor

Requirements

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in RF system development
• Expertise in High-power RF amplifier and LNA design
• Proficient in RF simulation and test tools
• Understanding of propagation physics and RF system effects
• Experience with SDR platforms
• Proven record of patents or fielded RF systems
