Axon is seeking an experienced data engineer to join their platform engineering team, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to power analytics and product features. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
• Optimize and manage data storage solutions
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security
• Develop and maintain ETL processes
• Define data availability SLAs
• Create and manage data models

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering or related experience
• Knowledge of data pipeline design
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Experience with real-time data processing frameworks
• Strong programming skills in Python or Scala
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
• Familiarity with AWS-based data solutions
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience documenting data lineage
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools
