Job Description

Axon is seeking a Software Product Manager to lead the definition and delivery of product features for Axon Outpost, a new ALPR device. This role involves bridging engineering, customer needs, and long-term strategy to ensure the delivery of technically sound, valuable, and scalable capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Write and own software one-pagers
• Translate one-pagers into product specifications
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams
• Drive end-to-end software development
• Leverage data and telemetry
• Define and track North Star metrics
• Contribute to product vision and roadmap
• Represent the product in meetings
• Make data-informed decisions
• Participate in post-launch support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Proven track record of shipping software features
• Familiarity with field device telemetry
• Solid experience navigating technical tradeoffs
• Ability to work closely with Engineering, QA, and Validation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Growth mindset
