Job Description

Axon is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of innovative hardware products. This role involves defining product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful development, launch, and scaling of hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, customer empathy, and a proven track record in hardware product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Gather customer and industry insights
• Partner with engineering, design, and other teams
• Ensure product performance, reliability, and usability
• Validate product concepts and refine requirements
• Collaborate with suppliers and third parties
• Establish and track KPIs
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in hardware or hardware/software products
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• Proven success in launching and scaling hardware solutions
• Comfort with technical discussions
• Exceptional customer empathy
• Strong stakeholder alignment skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive product adoption
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
