Job Description

Axon is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the design and evolution of DEMS Search, the core retrieval platform for digital evidence. This role involves defining strategy, building roadmaps, partnering with engineering, and driving improvements in search capabilities across various evidence types to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public safety agencies.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Search Platform vision for DEMS
• Build and maintain a multi-year roadmap for search platform capabilities
• Partner with engineering to design scalable indexing pipelines
• Collaborate with data and relevance teams to improve ranking logic
• Operate with high autonomy, clarifying priorities and requirements
• Define and track key performance metrics

Requirements

• 10+ years relevant software Product Management experience in Search
• Direct collaboration with engineers
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering successful products
• Strong knowledge of project management principles
• Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally (10%)
