Axon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape and drive technical solutions for scalable web applications. The role involves collaboration with engineers, leading architecture design reviews, mentoring team members, and improving engineering processes, all while contributing to a mission-driven company focused on protecting life.

Responsibilities

• Build and own technical roadmap for web applications
• Implement robust, reusable, and maintainable code using React
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Mentor and grow engineers
• Improve engineering processes
• Create integrated solutions with Product, Design, and Engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience developing large-scale web applications
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React
• Experience with Redux, RxJS, or TanStack Query
• Experience with cloud based APIs
• Strong experience with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Rollup
• Proficient with testing tools like Jest
• Deep familiarity with Git
