Axon is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to deliver scalable solutions for their Kubernetes platform and services. The role focuses on system stability, documentation, and improving the developer experience within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Build kubernetes platforms and tools
• Exemplify cloud-native SRE best practices
• Write performant and maintainable code
• Debug problems in cloud-native systems
• Influence engineering teams on architectural patterns
• Provide documentation for self-service
• Improve platform reliability, operability, and cost efficiency
• Champion new ideas

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Platform engineering or container orchestration
• Experience with Azure and AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS)
• Experience with Python, Go, C#, Java
• Experience with code collaboration tools (GitHub, ArgoCD)
• Experience with CI/CD platforms
• Experience with observability tools (APM, logging, metrics)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Experience designing tooling for SaaS/PaaS systems
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code modules
• Empathy for software engineers
