Axon is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to deliver scalable solutions for their Kubernetes platform and services. The role focuses on system stability, documentation, and improving the developer experience within a fast-paced, impactful environment.

Responsibilities

• Build kubernetes platforms and tools
• Exemplify cloud-native SRE best practices
• Write performant code
• Debug cloud-native distributed systems
• Influence engineering teams
• Provide documentation
• Improve platform reliability and cost efficiency
• Champion new ideas

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Platform engineering or container orchestration
• Experience with Azure and AWS
• Kubernetes platform experience (AKS, EKS)
• Programming experience (Python, Go, C#, Java)
• Code collaboration experience (GitHub, ArgoCD)
• CI/CD platform experience
• Observability tools experience
• Infrastructure as Code tools experience (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Tooling design experience
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code modules
• Empathy for software engineers
