Job Description

The Director of Data Integration & Architecture will lead teams responsible for third-party integrations and data conversion initiatives, ensuring interoperability between public safety systems and Axon’s cloud platform. This role focuses on operational excellence, scalable processes, technical strategy, and cross-functional alignment to support customer success and Axon’s product ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Managers of Solution Architects and Data Solution Engineers
• Drive execution quality across integration and data conversion
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver secure integration solutions
• Serve as technical escalation point for stakeholders
• Allocate resources using capacity modeling
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
• Communicate project status and risks
• Develop standardized methodologies and tooling
• Lead automation efforts across workflows
• Modernize internal integration tooling
• Consolidate legacy tools into a unified platform
• Define roadmap for new service offerings
• Shape packaging and pricing models
• Drive innovative strategies for customer value

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8-10+ years experience or 15+ years relevant experience
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Experience designing/deploying technical solutions in networking, APIs, or data pipelines
• Familiarity with scripting/automation tools and cloud platforms
• Managerial experience with resource modeling and forecasting
• Solid understanding of project management and integration methodologies
• Effective communication skills
• Background in public safety or RMS solutions preferred
• Must pass a CJIS background check
