Job Description

Axon is seeking a Vice President of Sales Engineering to lead their global team of technical sales professionals. This role will focus on developing and executing a pre-sales strategy to ensure the adoption of Axon’s ecosystem of products, bridging innovation and customer success across public safety and enterprise sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a global Sales Engineering organization
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success
  • Define and implement standardized technical discovery processes
  • Build, mentor, and empower high-performing leaders
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams for customer feedback
  • Develop enablement programs and demo environments
  • Drive executive-level customer engagements
  • Measure team success through KPIs

Requirements

  • 12+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution engineering
  • 5+ years leading global or enterprise teams
  • Experience scaling a global sales engineering organization
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud architecture, SaaS, and data security
  • Excellent communication and executive presence
  • Globally diverse team leadership experience
  • Passion for Axon’s mission
