Job Description

Blink Health is seeking a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist to join their Prior Authorization team and enhance customer service for patients and partners. This role focuses on making medications more affordable and accessible by assisting with prior authorization requests and coordinating with providers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initiating new prior authorization requests
• Identify correct prior authorization forms
• Coordinate with prescribers and medical offices
• Follow up on prior authorization requests
• Communicate status to patients and providers
• Coordinate Appeals
• Respond to internal questions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Customer service or call center experience required
• Strong communication skills
• Sound technical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Passion for patient care
• Teamwork ability
• Flexible to work shifts 8am-8pm
