Blink Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to tackle critical technical challenges and drive product development, ensuring millions of customers have seamless access to affordable prescription medications. The role involves leading design and execution, mentoring engineers, and collaborating cross-functionally to accelerate growth, utilizing tools like AWS, Python, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve backend and frontend architecture
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Lead code reviews and promote engineering best practices
• Investigate and resolve complex performance issues
• Drive feature releases with testing and monitoring
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship
• Shape engineering culture
• Stay ahead of industry trends
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas
• Communicate technical topics clearly

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience owning systems from design to launch
• Strong expertise in a modern language (Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.)
• Experience in distributed systems and API design
• Passion for mentoring
• Track record of influencing stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
