Job Description

Blink Health is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage, monitor, and maintain their network infrastructure, including Starlink, Meraki, Palo Alto, AWS VPC, and Transit Gateway. The role involves technical architecture, troubleshooting in a microservices environment, promoting network design best practices, mentoring, and acting as a technical escalation point. The position requires a strong understanding of network security and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure
• Serve as a technical architect and consultant
• Work on projects and research solutions
• Promote network design best practices
• Mentor service desk technicians
• Act as technical escalation point
• Configure, harden, and patch network devices
• Monitor security alerts
• Maintain technical documentation
• Communicate with stakeholders
• Participate in on-call support
• Provide backup for Windows and Linux server administration

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing on-prem & cloud network environments
• Experience in network design and troubleshooting in a cloud-based microservices environment
• Expert-level knowledge of enterprise network protocols
• Deep understanding of cloud and virtualization technologies
• Ability to manage integrated cloud-based and physical infrastructure
• Strong understanding of network security
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools
• Mid-level Windows and Linux server administration capabilities
• Experience writing project proposals
• Experience working with vendors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Industry certifications a plus
• Ability to travel up to 25%
