Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will support overall project management for construction planning, project management, and facilities maintenance for 70+ Sunnyside dispensaries. This role involves managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while providing updates to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vendor relations and track projects
  • Assist with budget tracking and reporting
  • Coordinate construction projects from initiation to completion
  • Assist with cost estimation and tracking deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, codes, and regulations
  • Prepare internal contracts and create purchase orders
  • Support layout, finishes, and materials sourcing
  • Maintain construction documents
  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners
  • Manage the facilities ticket system
  • Maintain internal project trackers and reporting
  • Coordinate repairs for warranty-related issues
  • Assist with vendor bidding processes
  • Assist with invoicing
  • Provide updates on construction and facilities activities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of construction project management & facilities management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Property Management
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills
  • Skilled in vetting contractor proposals and tracking permits
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Smartsheet, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated 3D visualization ability
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
