Job Description

The Packaging Supervisor leads a team of packaging agents to meet daily production goals with efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This role oversees task assignments, training, quality control, equipment operation, and performance management while promoting a clean, safe, and continuously improving work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Pack teams
• Assigns daily tasks
• Trains new hires
• Ensures quality level is met
• Supports continuous improvement
• Maintains clean packaging areas
• Supports GMP work environment
• Executes batch record documentation
• Utilizes Seed-to-Sale System
• Prints and disperses reports
• Collaborates with other departments
• Manages inventory discrepancies
• Operates automated equipment
• Approves timecards and handles disciplinary actions
• Leads monthly meetings and annual reviews

Requirements

• 2+ years of supervisory/managerial experience
• Experience in CPG, Manufacturing, or Production preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to policies and procedures
• Effective time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in windows-based software a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be 21 years or older
