Job Description

The ACLU is seeking a legal intern to support litigation efforts related to reproductive freedom. The intern will gain experience through legal research, drafting, and assisting with active cases, contributing to the advancement of civil liberties and social justice.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting legal research and analysis
  • Drafting memoranda, motions, and legal pleadings
  • Providing assistance on active litigation
  • Supporting new litigation projects
  • Fact development and background research
  • Tracking and analyzing bills

Requirements

  • Completed at least one year of law school
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments
