Job Description

The ACLU is seeking an Undergraduate Intern for the National Security Project in New York City. This hybrid position will support litigation and advocacy efforts through administrative and substantive tasks, focusing on human rights and civil liberties issues.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and logging government documents
• Organizing and archiving case files
• Conducting factual research

Requirements

• Completion of at least three years of an undergraduate degree program
• Strong interest in human rights and civil liberties
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Strong computer and web-based research skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Initiative to see projects through to completion
