Job Description

The ACLU is seeking an Undergraduate Product Design intern to contribute to the web and mobile experiences that drive audience engagement. The intern will focus on contributing to the execution, strategy, and documentation of the developing Design System for ACLU.org, working with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify web features
• Write technical specifications and documentation
• Collaborate on componentization strategies
• Participate in Quality Assurance testing
• Support Design Team trainings
• Center equity, inclusion, and belonging in all work

Requirements

• Systems-first, problem-solving mindset
• Strong UI design, digital interactions, and accessibility skills
• Strong Figma skills
• Familiarity with Design Systems
• Familiarity with user-centered web design
• Ability to create low and high-fidelity designs
