Canonical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Alliances Director to lead the Dell Technologies alliance team globally. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with Dell executives, driving revenue growth, developing go-to-market strategies, and managing a team of Business Development Managers.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the global Alliance strategy
• Expand strategic relationships with Dell teams
• Grow business with Dell Technologies
• Manage and develop a team of Business Development Managers
• Deliver on targets and objectives
• Travel internationally
• Align and support internal Canonical field teams
• Expand existing footprint with Dell customers

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Alliance Manager/Director
• Solid experience in Linux, virtualization, containers, and cloud technologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
• Autonomous and disciplined mentality
• Passion for Canonical products
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments
• Team player with accountability and customer support skills
• Experience managing cross-functional teams
