Job Description

Canonical is seeking a Partner Sales Director to build relationships with Global System Integrators (GSIs), increase market share, and facilitate Ubuntu-based solutions throughout the sales cycle. The role involves strategy development, executive engagement, and collaboration with internal teams to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic relationships with partners
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
  • Work with marketing, sales engineering, and product management
  • Lead executive interlocks
  • Understand Linux and cloud software ecosystem
  • Understand partner organizations and sales models

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in alliance or indirect sales management
  • Experience with OpenStack, virtualization, containers, and Cloud technologies
  • Autonomous and disciplined mentality
  • Ability to capture customer requirements
  • Passionate about Ubuntu
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
