Job Description

Canonical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IHV Alliance Sales Director to lead IHV Alliances in the EMEA or APAC regions. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives at strategic partner organizations, managing a team of Business Development Managers, and driving revenue growth through joint business objectives and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic relationships with IHV partners
  • Grow awareness of open source capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
  • Lead partnerships in EMEA, APAC, and Americas
  • Work with marketing, sales engineering, and product management
  • Deliver on targets and provide partner voice
  • Lead executive interlocks
  • Travel internationally

Requirements

  • Experience in alliance or indirect sales management
  • Autonomous and disciplined mentality
  • Ability to capture customer requirements
  • Passion for Ubuntu products
  • Comfort in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with Linux, virtualization, and cloud technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
