Job Description

Canonical is seeking a Partner Sales Manager to focus on the Dell alliance. This role involves building relationships with Dell teams, generating opportunities, driving Canonical's agenda within Dell, and achieving targeted results. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing market share, evangelizing the partnership, and driving business interactions across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic relationships and enable Dell teams
  • Build pipeline and transact opportunities
  • Grow Dell’s awareness of open source capabilities
  • Deliver on targets and provide partner voice
  • Travel to drive partnerships
  • Align and support internal Canonical field teams
  • Expand existing footprint with Dell customers
  • Support broader strategy and initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience in alliance or indirect sales management
  • Autonomous and disciplined mentality
  • Ability to capture customer requirements
  • Passion for Ubuntu products
  • Comfort in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with Linux, virtualization, and cloud technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with accountability
  • Credibility and working knowledge of Dell
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel
  • SalesForce.com and Google Suite experience a plus
