Job Description

Canonical is seeking a passionate individual to join the Silicon Alliances Team, working with leading semiconductor companies to combine open source adoption with innovative optimizations. This role involves developing joint product roadmaps, driving delivery, and formulating go-to-market plans to enable differentiated hardware and robust product life-cycle support. The position is remote, with potential for global travel.

Responsibilities

• Represent Canonical and its solutions to partners
• Understand silicon partner strategies and technologies
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams
• Ensure project plans are created, tracked, and executed
• Develop joint Go-To-Market strategies and campaigns
• Negotiate successful contracts

Requirements

• B.A. / B.S. / B.E degree in science, technology, and/or engineering
• Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry
• Experience in software and system architecture preferred
• Customer-facing experience in business development or technology strategy
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and tactically
• Self-motivated for a remote-first environment
