Job Description

Canonical is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to generate revenue by selling open source software solutions to enterprises globally. The role involves building and executing territory plans, developing new pipelines, closing contracts, and maintaining customer relationships. This is a remote position with a focus on expanding the company's presence in the enterprise market.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company and its solutions
  • Build and execute territory plans
  • Develop new pipeline through outreach
  • Close contracts to meet targets
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Work with field engineers to propose solutions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce
  • Establish relationships with key influencers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (engineering or computer science preferred)
  • Experience with open source technology
  • Detail-oriented with effective follow-up
  • Experience in enterprise software sales
  • Track record of achieving sales targets
  • Self-discipline and motivation
  • Professional English skills
  • Ability to travel
