Job Description

This role involves optimizing Ubuntu for the latest silicon across the Linux stack, partnering with silicon companies to integrate next-generation features and performance enhancements for server, desktop, and IoT technologies. The position is globally remote and requires a resourceful and articulate individual with a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Ubuntu integration for latest hardware
• Work with partners to optimize Ubuntu experience
• Lead technical engagements from cloud to edge
• Integrate apps, SDKs, and optimize applications
• Work with advanced operating systems and application technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM
• Experience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto)
• Experience with open source communities
• Experience with Python, C, C++
• Ability to work in a globally distributed team
