Canonical is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Ubuntu Pro Sales Engineer to drive the adoption of Ubuntu Pro within the large enterprise user base. This role involves understanding customer needs, delivering presentations, collaborating with sales teams, and providing feedback to product teams. The ideal candidate has a technical background, is business-minded, and passionate about open-source technology.

Responsibilities

• Collect customer business requirements
• Advise customers on Ubuntu and open source applications
• Identify customer challenges and articulate solutions
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations
• Liaise with product teams for feedback
• Collaborate with sales teams
• Global travel up to 50%

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish and English skills
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Confidence in communication and feedback
• Track record of exceeding expectations
• Knowledge of Linux, virtualization, containers, and networking
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Intermediate Python skills
• Passion for technology
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
