Canonical is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on pioneering and improving large-scale Information Systems. The role involves leading a distributed team, representing the IS team to stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality managed services using DevOps and GitOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in daily agile devops practices
• Represent the IS team to stakeholders
• Organize and drive internal projects
• Mentor engineers
• Identify and measure team health
• Implement engineering and operations processes
• Ensure team focus on priorities
• Meet service level agreements
• Deliver quality managed services

Requirements

• Drive and track record of exceeding expectations
• Experience with software delivery using infrastructure as code
• Experience managing devops teams for SAAS
• Understanding of testing methodologies
• Technical aptitude for complex systems
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Ability to travel twice a year
• Exceptional academic record
