Job Description

Canonical is seeking a Public Cloud Project Manager to provide account leadership and insight for key Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, shaping Statements of Work, and ensuring successful outcomes for both Canonical and its clients. The position requires strong customer relationship management, technical understanding, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programs and projects within schedule, scope, cost, and budget
• Identify and mitigate technical and project risks
• Maintain customer focus and collaborate with stakeholders
• Conduct status meetings and business reviews
• Manage third-party deliverables
• Manage cross-organization engineering requests
• Advocate Canonical's technologies to customers

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT Cloud as a project/program manager or scrum master
• Deep understanding of Linux, Open source, and Public Cloud
• Software engineering experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience leading remote and global teams
• Strong negotiation skills
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM
• Project Management Certification (PMP preferred)
• Agile Project Management Certification (Scrum Master preferred)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
