Canonical is seeking a Lead HR Generalist to support the AMER region, shaping and creating an HR function for the future. This role will drive and implement regional and global HR initiatives, providing compliant HR operations, advising on employee lifecycle issues, and partnering with leadership to foster a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliant HR operations
• Create impact across HR regions
• Manage talent development, succession planning, and performance assessments
• Partner with managers on performance management and employee engagement
• Coach managers on employee relations issues
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
• Design new policies and deliver HR projects

Requirements

• Exceptional academic record
• HR experience in a technology business
• Regional HR experience in Latin America
• Experience business partnering with senior stakeholders
• Strong project management skills
• Experience in a remote-first organization
• Data analysis skills
• Fluent in business English
• Self-motivated and organized
