The role involves optimizing team performance, implementing engineering processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in a globally distributed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering team to optimize quality and velocity
  • Identify and measure team health indicators
  • Implement engineering and operations processes
  • Represent the team to stakeholders and customers
  • Ensure team focus on priorities and deliverables
  • Meet service level agreements
  • Deliver quality managed services

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a technology field
  • Experience with software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar
  • Experience with OpenStack
  • Commitment to testing and code quality
  • Linux system administration experience
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience managing distributed teams
  • Technical aptitude for complex systems
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
