Job Description

LG Electronics is seeking an R&D Engineer to join their Home Appliance Manufacturing team in Clarksville, TN. The role involves developing and manufacturing home appliances, conducting research, managing projects, and providing technical guidance to ensure customer value and resolve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and performance coaching from the customer's perspective
• Manage project resources to achieve goals
• Resolve production and customer issues through analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams
• Determine product goals and manage resources
• Design and develop products from concept to production
• Utilize CAD models and prototypes
• Adhere to product development standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Solidworks 3D/2D CAD software
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
• Understanding of dimensional and tolerance standards
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
