LG Electronics is seeking an Environmental Associate to join their Safety, Health & Environment Team in Clarksville, TN. This role focuses on environmental compliance, sustainability, and supporting environmental management systems with a focus on regulatory adherence and proactive environmental programs.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve Environmental Management System (EMS) processes
• Assist with Hazard Communication, SPCC, SWPPP, RCRA, and Hazmat management
• Conduct site inspections and maintain records
• Manage recycling and waste handling
• Collect and analyze air emissions data
• Ensure proper chemical storage and handling
• Maintain environmental documentation
• Develop and execute environmental training plans
• Manage environmental legal register
• Participate in environmental impact assessments
• Monitor environmental legislation
• Track issue resolution
• Maintain detailed documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Environmental Engineering
• 1–2+ years of experience in environmental compliance or sustainability
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Adaptability to changing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Commitment to ethical standards
• Openness to occasional domestic travel
