Job Description

LG Electronics is seeking a bilingual (English & Korean) Material Handling Automation Specialist to join their Smart Factory Team in Clarksville, TN, working with Autonomous Ground Vehicles (AGV) as part of the new LG Electronics Tennessee Factory. This role focuses on optimizing in-house logistics, developing intelligent solutions, and managing the production system for smooth operation and DX advancement.

Responsibilities

• In-house logistics/layout optimization
• Intelligent solution development/operation
• Manage production system for smooth operation
• Establish synchronized production control system
• On-site support for issue resolution
• Design layout changes for plant production
• AGV & AMR operation improvement and analysis
• Manage Team & Personal KPIs
• Weekly & monthly report preparation
• Conducting DX projects
• Handle purchasing, asset management, safety, and security tasks
• Support team tasks

Requirements

• 5+ years manufacturing experience in a production plant with 300+ employees
• Engineering degree preferred, relevant experience considered
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, CAD)
• Good communication skills with AGV & ACS system developers
• Bilingual in English & Korean
• Understanding of AGV operating systems (ACS & MCS, Digital twin)
