Job Description

LG Electronics is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their Customer Service team in Newburgh, NY. The technician will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by servicing LG products in customers' homes, diagnosing and repairing major appliances, TVs, and A/C units, managing inventory, and performing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations for maintenance and repair
• Use safety equipment and diagnostic tools
• Diagnose and repair electronics and appliances
• Document findings and repair/replace parts
• Process paperwork and data entry
• Pre-screen service calls
• Meet company metrics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year technical experience (Field Service preferred)
• Experience repairing major appliances
• Experience using tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and document issues
• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability to obtain EPA Certification
• Meet physical requirements (bending, lifting up to 50 pounds)
