Job Description

LG Electronics is seeking a highly motivated Higher Education Account Manager to develop and execute a sales strategy within the Western US territory to achieve revenue growth. This role involves business development with higher education institutions, understanding their technical requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to close IT and AV opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Expand LG's market share in higher education
  • Understand end-user business needs and map to LG solutions
  • Create territory business plans
  • Execute go-to-market strategy
  • Engage with resellers and partners
  • Present product solutions and demos
  • Manage pipeline and forecast accuracy
  • Manage marketing activities
  • Represent LG at trade shows
  • Manage customer database in Salesforce

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience selling to higher education
  • 2-5 years of IT/AV network solutions sales experience
  • Knowledge of IT and AV technologies
  • Experience with State, Local, and Education contracts
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Solid business acumen
  • Technical sales experience with presentation skills
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Proficiency in MSOffice
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
