Job Description

LG Electronics is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer I to deliver and install DirectView LED (DVLED) technology. This role involves coordinating with project managers, training teams, serving as a technical liaison, and providing feedback to improve DVLED solutions. The position requires extensive travel and a strong technical background in LED installation and A/V systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers
• Deliver DVLED installation training
• Serve as technical liaison
• Provide product feedback
• Solve installation challenges
• Conduct site readiness inspections
• Verify inventory accuracy
• Install, wire, and align DVLED systems
• Maintain project documentation
• Support marketing events
• Offer remote technical support
• Champion customer needs

Requirements

• Technical School EET Certification or equivalent
• 2–4 years of DVLED installation experience
• Experience with Virtual Production workflows
• Knowledge of site safety procedures
• Familiarity with DVLED technology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and design software
• Ability to read A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings
• Strong knowledge of IT, networking, and A/V systems
• Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Comfort in fast-paced environments
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%)
