Job Description

The Assistant General Counsel will provide legal support for the Pro Builder business of LG Electronics USA, focusing on sales, installation, and construction agreements. The role involves mitigating legal risks and providing business legal support for the Pro Builder operations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate sales, installation, construction, and service agreements
• Advise on antitrust and legal issues related to distribution and online sales
• Review external communications for legal compliance
• Work with risk management on insurance coverage
• Advise on licensing and regulatory requirements
• Manage pre-litigation, litigation, and administrative agency actions
• Provide detailed reporting and manage outside law firms
• Support Home Appliance and B2B business teams

Requirements

• JD degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Experience negotiating construction or supply agreements with residential builders
• Strong execution and project management skills
• Negotiation and construction industry experience
• In-house legal experience preferred
• Advanced organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• New Jersey, Georgia, or Illinois Bar license
