LG Magna e-Powertrain USA, Inc. is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to contribute to the development of electric vehicle powertrain technologies. The role involves customer communication, technical support, root cause analysis, risk reporting, and research for new business opportunities, collaborating with both customers and the HQ engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer technical communication
• Attend PDT meetings
• Provide recommendations to HQ development team
• Create and maintain engineering specifications
• Support APQP, DFM/DFA, and IATF 16949 compliance
• Provide on-site engineering support
• Perform root cause analysis of warranty products
• Conduct technical risk reporting
• Communicate technical information for RFQ’s/RFP’s
• Perform technical research and benchmarking

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering
• 3+ years of development engineering experience in automotive or related industry
• Skill in analysis of semiconductors
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Proficient in circuit analysis equipment
• Skill in selecting electrical components
• Adaptability to flexible work schedules
• Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, and MS Teams
