LG Electronics is seeking an Embodied AI Researcher to contribute to the development of physical intelligence for robots in real-world tasks. The role involves research in areas like spatial intelligence, robot dexterity, and integrating foundation models for embodied AI applications, impacting LG’s technology and product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Perform research in Embodied AI and Robotics
• Invent and integrate data generation systems
• Develop robot capabilities (spatial understanding, dexterity, etc.)
• Work with cross-functional teams for model deployment
• Collaborate with HQ and research labs
• Define project scope and goals

Requirements

• PhD/Master’s in CS/Robotics/EE or similar
• 0-3 years of industry experience in embodied AI
• Research experience in imitation learning, multimodal representation learning, etc.
• Experience integrating AI models with real-world data
• Understanding of robot foundation models
• Familiarity with physics simulation platforms
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
