Job Description

LG Electronics is seeking an experienced Lead SoC Compute Architect to lead the research and development of automotive HPC SoCs in Santa Clara, CA. This role involves designing high-performance, power-efficient SoCs for in-vehicle infotainment systems, driving innovation in automotive HPC technology, and collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in SoC design with focus on high-performance computing
• Proven track record in automotive or industrial SoC design
• Experience with software-hardware co-design methodologies
• Knowledge of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
• In-depth knowledge of SoC design principles (CPU, GPU, memory subsystems, I/O)
