Job Description

Filevine is seeking a Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) licensed in California to lead their reporter marketplace team. This role combines stenographic work with supervisory, training, and quality oversight, focusing on maintaining high accuracy and compliance standards for a tech-enabled court reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Capture depositions, hearings, and legal proceedings stenographically
• Produce accurate, verbatim transcripts
• Use CAT software and digital audio tools for transcript finalization
• Lead quality assurance through transcript auditing and feedback
• Develop staffing models and oversee recruitment
• Implement process improvements to enhance reporting quality

Requirements

• Current California CSR license
• In-depth knowledge of California procedural rules and legal terminology
• Significant court reporting experience with supervisory experience
• Proficiency with CAT software (Case CATalyst, Eclipse)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities remotely
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to professional standards
