Job Description

Filevine is seeking an Architect I to take ownership of operability concerns, guiding teams to build systems with observability and proactive monitoring. This role involves defining SLOs, error budgets, and reliability standards, while fostering a culture of reliability and providing mentorship on performance optimization and incident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve cloud infrastructure strategy (AWS)
• Provide architectural guidance on Kubernetes/EKS
• Lead the design and adoption of CI/CD pipelines
• Establish and enforce monitoring, observability, and alerting standards
• Partner with teams to define SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
• Drive best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Support teams in building highly available, fault-tolerant systems
• Mentor engineers on reliability principles

Requirements

• Expertise in Cloud-Native Infrastructure (AWS)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes/EKS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• CI/CD Pipeline Design and Automation
• Observability and Monitoring Expertise
• Defining SLOs, SLIs, and Error Budgets
