Job Description

Filevine is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain autonomous systems that ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of their cloud-based legal workflow tools. The role involves embedding with a cross-functional team, gaining context, and eventually leading mission-critical objectives to improve their systems and establish a personal brand as an exceptional engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop autonomous systems for building, deploying, testing, and operating products
• Be the voice of Reliability throughout the SDLC
• Collect, monitor, and alert on software and server events
• Improve the CI/CD pipeline
• Develop playbooks and tools to streamline processes
• Identify and fix gaps in system availability
• Improve and defend system security
• Document processes and best practices
• Find and create reliable tools for engineers
• Mentor and train junior engineers
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7/365 support

Requirements

• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for improvement
• Proficiency in SRE II skills
• Experience with Python, Bash, Powershell
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of hands-on technical experience
• 4+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience
• Experience building autonomous systems
