Job Description

SimpliSafe is seeking a key technical leader to drive RF product development and validation. The RF Systems Engineer will be responsible for optimizing RF performance across products, building testing capabilities, managing ODMs, and evaluating new radio technologies to maintain best-in-class wireless connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Own RF performance across products
• Build RF testing capabilities
• Manage ODMs and third-party labs
• Characterize wireless chipsets and antennas
• Author RF technical requirements
• Root cause RF field issues
• Optimize board layouts for RF and immunity
• Evaluate new radio technologies

Requirements

• Deep expertise in radio and front-end design
• Knowledge of encoding methods and modulation schemes
• Understanding of RF emission requirements and testing
• Debugging RF issues experience
• Proficiency with RF instruments
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in RF/Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in RF design and validation
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
