SimpliSafe is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Enterprise Information Systems team, focused on improving the customer experience throughout the e-commerce journey. The role involves shaping the e-commerce codebase, improving developer experience, and architecting solutions across multiple platforms to impact e-commerce, operations, and customer service teams.

Responsibilities

• Champion developer experience
• Create tested and reliable services
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Work with ecommerce stakeholders on new features
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
• Write clear documentation and conduct knowledge-sharing

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience
• Knowledge of REST, GraphQL, and modern web technologies
• Experience with frontend implementations in modern web frameworks
• Experience with backend service design and API implementation
• Familiarity with cloud based microservices
• Comfort with CI/CD workflows
• Agile team experience
• Passion for continuous learning
