SimpliSafe is seeking a Security Monitoring Specialist to provide top-tier monitoring support to customers, responding to emergency and non-emergency alarms, and dispatching emergency services. This is a fully onsite position requiring state regulatory licensing and a commitment to customer safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide monitoring support to customers
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency alarms
• Analyze caller situations and dispatch emergency services
• Enter data into computer systems
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Stay updated on company policies
• Obtain and maintain state regulatory licensing

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass state licensing background checks
• 6-12 months of prior monitoring experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong work ethic and time management skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Outstanding attendance and timeliness
