Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to identify, shape, capture, and grow new opportunities and capabilities for the company, focusing on space security and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customers and the DoD’s acquisition process, with a proven track record of driving revenue and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagements through the federal IT acquisitions process
  • Develop and execute business development strategies
  • Grow existing business and capture new business
  • Cultivate expertise in customer needs within the space domain
  • Partner with leadership to identify new mission areas
  • Refine messaging and value proposition in written content
  • Drive pricing strategy and negotiation

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant acquisition, business development, and/or capture experience in defense technology
  • Knowledge of DoD Program Executive Offices and Defense Acquisition Programs
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication
