Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking an experienced Mission Manager to lead and coordinate the planning, integration, and execution of aerospace vehicle launches for defense and commercial space missions. This role requires strong technical knowledge of launch systems, leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, and the ability to interface with government and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead launch operations planning and management
  • Define launch objectives and timelines
  • Develop detailed launch schedules
  • Serve as primary point of contact for launch operations
  • Oversee payload integration with launch vehicle
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve integration issues
  • Manage launch site operations with vehicle providers
  • Identify and manage launch process risks
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations
  • Maintain adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in launch operations or aerospace systems engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in spacecraft development and launch
  • Strong knowledge of launch vehicles and ground systems
  • Expertise in launch vehicle integration and flight dynamics
  • Familiarity with mission assurance processes and regulatory frameworks
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TS/SCI or TS/SAP U.S. government security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for authorizations
