Job Description

True Anomaly is seeking a talented Autonomy Engineer to develop and implement their autonomy roadmap, working with a cross-functional team to advance cutting-edge technology in areas like vehicle autonomy, mission planning, and threat implication. The role involves designing and implementing AI, optimization, and machine learning infrastructure for autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI, optimization, and machine learning infrastructure
  • Research, develop, and implement AI and optimization algorithms
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and roadmap autonomy capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics, aerospace or similar
  • Proficient in C/C++ and Python
  • Strong understanding of statistics, optimization, and reasoning under uncertainty
  • 2+ years of experience with autonomous planning and decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for spaceflight and space security
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance
